Dragon Mountain

“Hey Levi, are you ready?” asks Sri who was standing outside Levi’s house in the village. “Yeah, just give me a minute.” shouted Levi. Levi’s house was easy to recognise. Unlike all the other houses in the village Levi’s was different. All the houses in the village (not including Levi’s) were the same. Levi’s house was the colours red, orange, yellow and blue. The other houses in the village were the colour brown or yellow. “Hey Sri, what are you-” said Krishna who just arrived. “I’m ready, should we go get Krishna? Oh, hi Krishna. When did you get here? Anyways let's go!” said Levi. As they walked into the forest they were talking about what they should do today. While they were walking around in the dim sunlight they found something sparkling. The thing that they found was behind an overshadowing blue tree with orange leaves.

“Woah, what is that?” said Levi. “I would've told you guys if I knew what it is”. “I think it’s a dragon egg, at least it looks like one.” whispered Krishna. “We should take it back to its parents. Let’s go!”. The egg that they found had a pattern that looked like thunder overlapped by scales. “Off to Dragon Mountain, I guess.” sighed Sri as they started walking.

There was only one way to Dragon Mountain and it was a terrifying and exhausting way. Dragon Mountain, the place in which dragons lived. Dragon Mountain was covered in scales, eggshells and grass. Levi, Sri and Krishna started their journey with Krishna holding the egg. After some time they came to a halt. “Woah, why is it getting so hot? I better take off my jacket.” said Krishna. “It’s because there’s a boiling hot lava pit that’s fizzing and could burn you to a crisp. How do we get across?” replied Sri. There were 2 tightropes over it. The tightropes were hanging on by one string each. “Um, guys, the egg, it’s hatching!” gulped Krishna.

Crack, crack, crack. After the egg hatched the dragon first came to Sri and licked him. “Stop that, it tickles!” laughed Sri. The dragon was two headed and blue with a lightning bolt pattern on its body. Levi got an idea. “Hey guys,the dragon can fly us over the lava pit one by one.” said Levi. After what felt like an hour, the dragon was ready to fly them over the lava. Sri got to the other side first, then Levi and last was Krishna who nearly got fried to a crisp. The dragon nearly dropped Krishna into the lava, Yikes! “Well, I’m glad I went second.” chuckled Levi.

After they crossed the lava they started walking with the dragon flying above their heads. Soon they got lost so Levi took his phone out of his pocket and set a map to Dragon Mountain. “I told you from the start to use a map!” yelled Krishna. “In 1 kilometre turn right” said the GPS. While they were walking 1 kilometre. “In 5 kilometres your destination will be on your right.” said the GPS. “Wow! I guess we were close to Dragon Mountain.” said Krishna. “Your destination is on your right.” said the GPS. Suddenly a giant shadow that looked like a tiger loomed over them. They looked up, they saw a…

“Ahhhhhh! A massive, red scaly dragon!” they all yelled. “Who goes there! Ahh! My nose and tail are on fire! Is there any water?” roared a massive red dragon with fire on its nose. After the dragon found water and put out the fire on its tail and nose, the dragon cried, hugging the baby dragon, “My son, where were you all this time?” “He's your son?!” replied Levi. “You guys kidnapped him, didn't you!” roared the dragon. “We were only trying to return him to his parents.” said Sri. “Oh, ok thank you so much for returning my son to me! What can I do to repay the favor?” said the massive red dragon with smoke coming out of its mouth. “Wait a minute, how do you lose an egg the size of a trash can?” asked Krishna. “Never thought you’d ask, well, this morning I was going to hunt for food. After I came back I realized that my egg was gone.” explained the dragon. “So let me get this straight, you went to get food then when you came back your egg was gone. Is that right?” said Levi. “Yeah I guess so.” replied the red scaly massive dragon. “Let’s investigate the area, we could find a few clues.

“Hey guys there are giant dragon footsteps leading to another mountain nearby.” said Sri as he started following the footsteps with the baby dragon following him. “Not now Sri, we’re thinking. Sri? Oh great! Sri and the baby dragon are gone!” sighed Levi. “I think they followed these footsteps. What are you guys waiting for? Let's go!” yelled Krishna.

As they were reaching the peak of the mountain, they heard loud bangs as loud as 25 dragons roaring at the same time. When they reached the peak they realized that the villain was, not 1 but 3 dragons. They also saw Sri riding a small, 2-headed, blue dragon breathing lightning and water combined. Sri and the blue dragon were fighting 3 dragons and were getting overpowered. One of the dragons had a fiery flame pattern on its body. The other one had an icy pattern. The third one had a water pattern.

“Why are you guys just standing there, come and help us!” yelled Sri. “Come on, let's go help Sri.” said Levi. “Dragon summoner I hereby summon 2 dragons so my friends can fight with me.” said Sri. “Wait, you have a dragon summoner?!” said the massive red dragon surprised. “I’ll explain it to you later cause we have a fight! Let’s go!” shouted Sri. Later… “Phew, that was tough but in the end we won!” said Krishna. You know those 3 dragons they were fighting, well the third one put the egg where we found it. “Oh, and also thanks for the help,” said Levi. “No problem. After all those dragons stole my egg.” said the massive, red, scaly dragon smiling.

Sri’s dad worked for a mining company. Each year the company allowed their workers to take something from the mine. When Sri was 10 his dad got this from the mine for him. This was Sri’s first time using it.

“Now we have to go back to the village.” said Sri excitedly thinking about what adventures they could have tomorrow. “Hop on, I’ll take you back to your village. As a thanks for returning my son to me.” said the massive red scaly dragon.
